Organist
I am a church organist who currently serves as Organist and Choir Director at Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior, ON. I have served in that role since August 2006.
Prior to that, I worked for five years as Organist and Music Director at Grace-St. Andrew's United Church, also in Arnprior. And I have previously served in churches in Perth, ON; Cobden, ON; Portage-du-Fort, QC; South Porcupine, ON; and Kingston, ON.
Weddings
Weddings at Emmanuel
If available, I normally play the organ for weddings taking place at Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior, ON. If you are planning a wedding at Emmanuel, please check with the Rector for the music policies and procedures. (There are some minor differences from the information which follows.)
Weddings Elsewhere
I am also available to play for weddings at other local churches. Please note that as a matter of professional courtesy, the couple must contact the organist of the church where the wedding will take place and receive permission to use another organist, before I can agree to play.
My fee for weddings is $150, including both the ceremony and the wedding rehearsal. That fee also includes rehearsing with any other musicians immediately before or after the wedding rehearsal. Additional time spent working with other musicians is billed at $40 per hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour for each rehearsal.
