About Me

I am a composer and church musician. I have served in my home parish of Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior, Ontario since 2006. Prior to that, I served with Grace-St. Andrew's United Church in Arnprior, Ontario for five years.

The first piece I composed was a hymn setting of Christina Georgina Rossetti's "Love Came Down at Christmas," sung by the choir of Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior during a service Christmas Eve 1994. Since then, I have written a variety of hymns, anthems, songs, and psalm settings, including pieces commissioned for the anniversary of St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Windham, Maine and for a wedding in Kemptville, Ontario.

As well as my work within the church, I teach piano and accompany voice students. I am currently the accompanist of the Arnprior Community Choir and have served as rehearsal accompanist for the Valley Festival Chorus.

I am engaged to Heather Mina, a software developer from Virginia Beach, Virginia. We will soon be applying for a fiancé visa, which we expect to receive in 2009. With visa in hand, we will marry and I will move to share my life with Heather and her two teenaged children.
